WISSERVAC™

David Wisser started in the flooring industry in 1981. After working for floor sanding contractors for five years, David felt that he could offer better quality craftsmanship than the contractors that he was working for. In 1986 David opened his own floor sanding business: Hardwood Flooring by David Wisser. In the early years of his new business David realized the health risks involved in sanding floors. David felt that there must be a cost effective way to eliminate the dust from the work area.

David started experimenting in 1998 with his own dust removal system. Over the course of four years, David invented a dust removal system that not only eliminated the dust from the workplace, but drastically increased his profits by reducing his bottom line.

David's new system was capable of running multiple sanding machines simultaneously, even on different floors of a building. David was even able to sand one room, while finishing an adjoining room! The system increased the life of his machinery, by removing the dust that allowed the system to overheat, causing bearing or winding failure. David finally felt that this system was capable  of doing what he set out to do, eliminate dust from the work area! David named his new system WisserVac™.

David incorporated WisserVac™ in 2001, and filed for a patent on his new product.
